Syndication | Consortium Financing
Münchener Hypothekenbank is active in national and international syndication markets as an arranger, underwriter and co-underwriter in horizontally and vertically structured syndicates. In addition, Münchener Hypothekenbank is also involved with acquiring and placing financing deals as a consortium member or as a lead manager.
Credit Treasury is responsible for placing and acquiring tranches of syndicated loans. Our syndication activities are focused on international markets with the major target markets in Europe, in addition to Germany, being France, the UK, Benelux, Switzerland, Austria, Spain and Sweden. Beyond these markets we are also active in economically strong cities and regions in the USA and Canada.
The acquisition of new business in the aforementioned target markets is managed centrally by Credit Treasury in Munich. We complement these efforts by working together with our cooperative partners located in Paris, Madrid, London, Vienna and New York. The placement of financing tranches solely takes place in Munich.
Credit Treasury supports the lending departments seeking consortium financing by helping them to structure their property finance deals and by selecting members of the consortium.
